Through this unique commitment, the partnership for Safety Smart was developed - a global educational program designed to improve children's awareness and understanding of fire and water safety, human health and wellbeing, the environment as well as cyber security, and road safety. Safety Smart educates, engages, and empowers children ages four-nine with a multitude of cause-and-effect scenario-style educational resources in 34 languages.

Safer Schools Safer India (SSSI) is a unique train-the-trainer model implemented in collaboration with the Directorate of Fire and Emergency Services (DFES) and Directorate of Education (DoE) in Goa since 2015. This work keeps potentially hazardous counterfeit products out of the stream of commerce and helps protect people, products and places. A longstanding partnership between UL and INTERPOL resulted in the formation of the International IP Crime Investigators College. The IIPCIC is the premier training center for global law enforcement, regulatory authorities and private sector investigators to receive the critical knowledge needed to combat current and emerging threats from IP Crime.
